DEKALB JUNCTION - Lowell C. McRobbie, 75, died December 26, at Canton Potsdam Hospital. Calling hours will be Tuesday, December 29, 10:00 am - 1:00 PM, funeral service at 1:00 PM with Reverend William Hart officiating at the Allen-Denesha Funeral Home, DeKalb Junction. Burial will follow in Hermon Cemetery.

Surviving his wife Isla Jean, sons, Michael and David, DeKalb Junction, Donald (Cheryl), Waterloo, daughters, Cathy (Gerald) Hendrick, Brockport, Caryn (Michael) Chilis, Rochester, Cherie (Daniel) Zira, Gouverneur, sister, Frances Taylor, Great Bend, 15 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, he was predeceased by sisters, G. Mae Hance, Luella Charter and Bettie Gardner

He was born in the Town of Hermon, February 9, 1934, the child of Harry and Mabel Gotham McRobbie. He served in the United States Army. He married Isla Jean Nichol. He was a laborer for Massena Local 322, until his retirement. He was a member of the Hermon Volunteer Fire Dept., he enjoyed working, gardening, taking care of his wife, hunting, building, farming and playing the lottery.
