Is this your first time doing North Country Idol? Yes

What made you try out this year?  This was the first opportunity I have had, and my husband insisted.

Do you think you did a good job Friday night? NO

Hobbies, interests, goals, etc. I like the outdoors, camping, kayaking, hiking, ect.  With three kids I don't have time for to many hobbies.

What you'll do if you win the $1,000 bucks.... That would be a huge confidence booster for me.  I would love to believe I would use the money to invest in further vocal training, and other musical opportunities, but....I suppose it would go to pay bills.

NCI 2010 - Round 4 Recap

On Friday March 5, 2010, the Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall was swarming with cowboy hats, boots and plenty of excitement. It was Round 4 of NCI3, and tonight the Top 39 singers would become the Top 25. It was also the first week that fans can vote for their favorites at the end of the show.

-I can reveal now that we WOULD have heard 26 contestants sing, but Juan Aguiar, who DID make it through, either didn’t show up or showed up past the registration deadline of 7:15. That’s too bad… I like Juan’s style and he’s a really sweet guy. Hope to see him back next year.

The evening’s entertainment commenced with another indescribable

 

performance by Al Walts, from our sister station WTNY. He bellowed his way through Ringo Starr’s “You’re Sixteen.” Wow.

Next, a contemporary country band, the Bandits, took the stage. Their repertoire included covers of tunes we play on Froggy 97, by artists like Keith Urban and Kenny Chesney. They kept it uptempo and rockin’. The crowd seemed to dig ‘em, especially during the last couple of tunes, “Eight Second Ride” and “Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy.”

What made you try out this year? a few friends at work suggested i try it out.
Do you think you did a good job Friday night? I thought i did alright, i feel my voice is strong, but my nerves got the best of me so i wasnt up to par.
Hobbies, interests, goals, etc.: I love the beach, boating, camping and traveling.
What you'll do if you win the $1,000 bucks.... I would start a savings bank accout for my son with half and the rest i would pay my student loan off. I know im boring but its what i have to do! haha
