MORRISTOWN, NY - Ogdensburg-based State Police say that slippery roads and unsafe speed caused an accident this morning in Morristown.
Lucas S. Keith, 28, of Ogdensburg was travelling west on Gilmore Road at approximately 6:30 this morning. Police say that due to unsafe speed on a slippery road, Keith lost control of his 1991 Jeep Wrangler, exited the roadway and struck a sign post before the vehicle rolled over onto the passenger side and came to a stop.
Keith was transported to Claxton-Hepburn for treatment of reported back pain.
Police issued a ticket for Speed Not Reasonable and Prudent returnable to the Town of Morristown Court on January 21, 2010.
