Police Bust 4 for Tupper Lake Theft

New York State Police at Tupper Lake investigated the theft of a generator from a hunting camp located on the Lead Pond Hunting Club property in the Town of Tupper Lake. The investigation resulted in the arrest of the following subjects:   

Joshua A. Cassell, 24 years-old, Tupper Lake, NY, arrested for criminal possession of stolen property 5th, petit larceny, making a punishable false written statement and tampering with evidence.  

Jonathan K. Mandigo, 23 years-old, Tupper Lake, NY, arrested for criminal possession of stolen property 5th, petit larceny, making a punishable false written statement and tampering with evidence.  

Kelly C. Smith, 33 years-old, Tupper Lake, NY, arrested for criminal possession of stolen property 5th, petit larceny, and making a punishable false written statement.  

Angel L. Sovey, 19 years-old, Tupper Lake, NY, arrested for making a punishable false written statement.   

Cassell, Mandigo and Smith were arraigned by Town Justice Leonard Young, Town of Tupper Lake, and released pending further court action. Sovey was issued an appearance ticket returnable on 08/26/09.
