Pulaski Man Charged w/ Manslaughter

Patrick Wesseldine(Williamstown, NY - July 20, 2009) - State Police in Pulaski and Fulton are investigating a motorcycle/truck fatal motor vehicle collision which occurred on July 19, 2009 at approximately 8:40 p.m. in the Town of Williamstown. 
 
Investigation revealed that PATRICK D WESSELDINE, 1/24/83, 154 Krebbs Rd, Pulaski, was operating a 2000 Dodge Durango south on Sol Davis Rd at the intersection with State Route 183.  
As Wesseldine proceeded through the intersection, he failed to yield right of way to a 2007 Yamaha motorcycle traveling northbound on State Route 183 being operated by EDWARD M. LAZORE, 8/11/84, 268 Cable Rd, Williamstown, NY.
 
Lazore's motorcycle subsequently collided with Wesseldine's Durango, ejecting Lazore. Lazore was pronounced deceased at the scene and neither vehicle was carrying any passengers.  
Wesseldine was uninjured and arrested for Vehicular Manslaughter Second Degree (class D felony), Driving While Ability Impaired (alcohol), Driving While Ability Impaired Drugs/Alcohol, and additional vehicle and traffic charges. Wesseldine was arraigned and held at the Oswego County Jail in lieu of bail.

State Police were assisted at the scene by the Oswego County Sheriff's Dept and members of the Williamstown Vol. Fire Dept.
