CAPE VINCENT, NY - Police say that 16-year-old Schuyler A. Merchant of Cape Vincent left a marijuana pipe in plain view in his vehicle when he parked it at the Thousands Islands High School parking lot yesterday morning.

Alexandria Bay-based State Police say that the pipe contained approximately 1/2 gram of marijuana. Merchant was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and issed an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Cape Vincent Court on March 23rd, 2010.
