Massena Man Burglarizes Home, Flees From Police |

Massena, NY- Massena City Police have arrested Joshua Jones, 16, of Massena after an incident that occurred on March 8.
Police allege that Jones broke into a Massena home last night. The residents of the burglarized home returned to the residence to discover the intruder sleeping in a bed. Massena Police were notified and arrested the suspect. Jones was later taken to the Massena hospital where he escaped from police custody. Police say he was quickly apprehended on hospital property.
Jones was charged with Burglary 2nd degree, Petit Larceny, and Escape 3rd degree. He was arraigned in the Massena court and later remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 bail.
