Winthrop Man Jailed for Unlawful Imprisonment

WINTHROP, NY - State Police in Winthrop arrested 22-year-old Craig R. Labrake II, of Winthrop following a domestic dispute with his ex-girlfriend in the Town of Lawrence.

Winthrop allegedly attempted to force her to stop her vehicle by pulling his own in front of her several times and braking hard, endangering her and the public.  Police say he also attempted to force her into a vehicle, threatened to kill her, and stole her cell phone.

They charged Labrake with 2nd-Degree Unlawful Imprisonment, 2nd-Degree Aggravated Harassment, Petit Larceny, and 2nd-Degree Harassment.

Labrake was arraigned in the Town of Hopkinton Court and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 secured bond.  He is ordered to reappear in the Town of Lawrence Court on March 2nd, 2010 at 1:00 p.m.
