Calcium Man Charged in Jewelry Theft

Christopher E. MartinWATERTOWN, NY - Watertown-based State Police arrested 21-year-old Christopher E. Martin of Calcium, NY yesterday.

Police say that an investigation revealed that while Martin was staying at another residence on County Route 62 in Watertown, he stole approximately $2,600.00 worth of jewelry from the home.

Two of the pieces were recovered from the Public Square Coin and Jewelry store in Watertown.  Martin was charged with 1 count of 4th-Degree Grand Larceny.

Martin was arraigned in the Town of Pamelia Court and remanded to the Jefferson County Jail in lieu of $5,000.00 cash bail.
