POTSDAM, N.Y. - At 11:26 p.m. on Friday, 02/12/10,  Kiersten E. Zweifel, 20, of Penfield, N.Y. was issued a traffic summons for Speed in Zone - 48 in a 30 mph zone on Maple Street in Potsdam.

Benjamin H. Black, 17, of Long Lake, N.Y. was given a traffic summons for Speed in Zone - 45 in a 30 mph zone on Market Street in Potsdam at 2:15 a.m. Saturday, 02/13/10.

At 2:37 a.m. Saturday, 02/13/10, Potsdam Police patrol observed a vehicle completing an illegal U-turn on Market Street in Potsdam. Patrol initiated a traffic stop and identified the operator as Michael Hernandez, 21, of New York, N.Y. Investigation revealed Hernandez to be intoxicated. He was taken into custody and transported to the Potsdam Police Department for further processing, where he submitted to a Data Master test revealing a BAC of .15%. Hernandez was released on tickets for DWI and Illegal U-Turn, returnable in Potsdam Village Court on 02/24/10.
