ALEXANDRIA BAY, N.Y. - The New York State Police in Alexandria Bay arrested Antonio Reyes, 24, of Watertown, N.Y. for Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree, a Class A misdemeanor.

On Thursday, February 11, 2010 at approximately 9:10 a.m., Mr. Reyes was in a vehicle with Rachel Reyes, 24, of Watertown, N.Y. who holds a valid stay-away order of protection that was issued by the City of Watertown Court.  

The Reyes were refused entry into Canada and were stopped by US Customs and Border Protection Officers when returning to the US.

Mr. Reyes was arraigned before Town of Clayton Judge James and remanded to the Public Safety Building on $500 bail.
