Potsdam PD Ticket 5 on Friday Night

POTSDAM, N.Y. - On Friday, 02/05/10 at 11:00 p.m., Potsdam Police Department officer observed a vehicle driven by Adam L. Wood, 27, of Massena, N.Y. passing through a steady red light at Sandstone Drive. The officer initiated a traffic stop and issued a Uniform Traffic Ticket for the above charge, returnable to Village of Potsdam Court on 02/18/10 at 6:00 p.m.

At 12:29 a.m. on Saturday, 02/06/10, Andrew S. Lewis, 19, of Leonia, N.J. was issued a Uniform Traffic Ticket for Failure to Dim High Beams to Oncoming Traffic on Market Street. Returnable to Village of Potsdam Court on 02/17/10 at 9:30 a.m.

Andrew C. Bodine, 18, of Penn Yan, N.Y. was observed on Market Street at 1:02 a.m. on Saturday, 02/06/10 not wearing a seatbelt. A traffic stop was initiated and a Uniform Traffic Ticket was issued, returnable to Village of Potsdam Court on 02/18/10 at 6:00 p.m.

At 2:54 a.m. on Saturday, 02/06/10, following an investigation into a hit-and-run accident at the Prosh Lot, it was discovered that Nii M. Quaye, 19, of Laurton, N.Y. had backed into a parked vehicle and then left the scene. Quaye was issued Uniform Traffic Tickets for Unsafe Backing of Vehicle and Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, returnable to Village of Potsdam Court on 02/18/10 at 6:00 p.m.

On Saturday, 02/06/10 at 3:14 a.m., Potsdam Police Department officers responded to a noise complaint on Market Street in which a subject gave officers a false name. Thomas R. Joyce, 24, of Ballston Spa, N.Y. was issued Appearance Tickets for Unnecessary Noise - Stereo and False Personation, returnable to Village of Potsdam Court on 02/17/10 at 9:30 a.m.
