POTSDAM, N.Y. - After a two-month investigation, plainclothes and uniformed members of the Potsdam Police Department arrested a 25-year-old Potsdam man for two Felony counts of Rape in the Third Degree and one Felony count of Criminal Sexual Act in the Third Degree.

On February 1, 2010, Dustin L. Musick was arrested in connection with several incidents that occurred in the Village of Potsdam last summer. It is alleged that Musick had sexual encounters with a 15-year-old female.

Musick was arraigned in the Town of Stockholm Court by the Honorable Wayne Wlliams, and was remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility to be held in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bail bond. Musick is scheduled to appear in the Village of Potsdam Court on 02/03/10 at 9:30 a.m.

Further investigation showed that Musick was wanted by the Norfolk, Virginia Police Department on a Probation Warrant. The Norfolk, Virginia Police Department was contacted and advised of same.
