MASSENA, N.Y. - State Police Massena patrols arrested Tracey M. Oakes, 36, of Hogansburg, N.Y. for Possession of Fireworks - Misdemeanor, subsequent to a vehicle and traffic stop on South Raquette Road.

Oakes was found to possess 8 different items of prohibited fireworks with a value in excess of $50.00. He was printed and processed through SP Massena without incident.

He was released on an Appearance Ticket returnable in the Village of Massena Court on 02/16/10 at 1:30 p.m.

The New York State Police were assisted at the scene by members of the United States Border Patrol.
