Assault, Fake ID, & Missing Dog in Potsdam |

POTSDAM, NY - The Potsdam Village Police department is investigating an assault that took place inside of Little Italy and then continued onto Elm Street in the vicinity of Market Street last night. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the Potsdam Police Department at 315-265-2121.
A dog was turned into the Potsdam PD that was located on River Road. If you have information, please call the PD at the above number.
Police were called to an establishment on Market Street at 9:40 p.m. last night where a suspect allegedly attempted to use a Fake ID. Richard J. Kolvik, 20 , of Morris, NY was charged with Attempt to Purchase Alcohol by Fraudulent Means, and Unauthorized Use of a License. He was issued tickets returnable to the Potsdam Village Court on February 17th, 2010.
