CANTON, NY - The St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force, in conjunction with the DEA and the St. Lawrence County District Attorney's office, arrested 16 people today through St. Lawrence County on Felony drug sale charges.
The following were charged with 3rd-Degree Criminal Sale of a Narcotic:
- Denise A. Shatraw, 27, of Winthrop, NY.
- Bonnie J. Arazy, 45, of Louisville, NY.
- Michael K. Labaff, 24, of Winthrop, NY.
- Brittany L. Sarro-Cole, 23, of Winthrop, NY.
- Christopher J. Kocienski, 36, of Norfolk, NY.
- Lacey L. Yekel, 20, of Norfolk, NY.
- Brent L. St. Germaine, 23, of Ogdensburg, NY.
- Leo T. Compo III, 26, of Canton, NY.
- Patrick J. Murphy, 22, of Ogdensburg, NY.
- Sandra L. Pike, 44, of Ogdensburg, NY.
Charged with 4th-Degree Criminal Sale of a Controlled substance:
- Rachael L. Smith, 23, of Norwood, NY.
Charged with 5th-Degree Criminal Sale of a Controlled substance:
- Steven L. Shatraw, 42, of Winthrop, NY.
- Jarret A. Gardner, 24, of Potsdam, NY.
- Robert J. Ryan, 21, of Fort Jackson, NY.
Charged with 3rd-Degree Criminal Sale of Marijuana:
- Ryan A. Matias, 21, of Potsdam, NY
- Devon J. Apgar, 21, of Norfolk, NY.
Authorities say that the arrests are the result of a year-long investigation involving numerous undercover drug buyers. The suspects were arraigned at various Town Courts throughout the county. Most of the subjects were remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.
Police indicate that more arrests are pending.
