Jones was arrested after his neighbor, George E. Middleton Jr., 36, of LaFargeville, N.Y. reported to State Police that between January 19, 2010 and the morning of January 21, 2010, someone had damaged his satellite dish and stolen approximately 100 gallons of kerosene from a tank outside his residence.

The responding Trooper noted tire tracks from a four-wheeler and a trailer leading from the kerosene tank to Jones' property. Jones was found in possession of a four-wheeler with a trailer containing six five-gallon cans of kerosene. Jones admitted to the larceny of the kerosene, but denied damaging the satellite dish.

Jones was arrested for Petit Larceny, issued an Appearance Ticket returnable to the Town of Orleans Court on 02/02/10, and released.
