OSWEGATCHIE, N.Y. - On 01/05/10 Gouverneur-based State Police arrested Thomas L. Lavigne, age 64, of Heuvelton, N.Y. for DWI. While on patrol on SR 812 in the Town of Oswegatchie at 10:45 p.m., a vehicle was observed with no headlights on, and while following this vehicle, it crossed over into the opposite lane fully for over 70 feet. The vehicle came back across and crossed the fog line when the traffic stop was initiated. Lavigne was operating the vehicle and found to be intoxicated.

Lavigne was placed under arrest at 11:00 p.m and transported to SP Gouverneur for processing. Lavigne's BAC was determined to be .11%. Lavigne was issued tickets for: Failure to Keep Right, No/Inadequate Lights, and DWI (1192-3, 1192-2). All tickets were returnable to the Town of Oswegatchie Court on 01/20/10 at 6:00 p.m.
