Local National Guard Soldiers Promoted

LATHAM, NY(readMedia) - Maj. Gen. Joseph J. Taluto, The Adjutant General for the State of New York, announces the promotion of members of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their capabilities for additional responsibility and leadership.

Edmund Rebb from Carthage, NY (postal code 13619) and serving with 102 Maintenance Company is promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant.

Travis Gonzalez from Massena, NY (postal code 13662) and serving with Detachment 1, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, Brigade Special Troops Battalion 27th In Bde Bct is promoted to the rank of Private 1st Class.

James Walrath from Hermon, NY (postal code 13652) and serving with 107th Military Police Company is promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant.

Austen Levesque from Newport, NY (postal code 13416) and serving with Company D, 3-142d Aviation is promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
