CANTON, NY - Three days ago, Legislator Candidate Matthew J. Flynn II never anticipated that his message of the need for jobs in St. Lawrence County would bring him to New York City to be featured on the Mike Huckabee Show.
While on the Mike Huckabee Show, Mr. Flynn brought national attention to the detrimental effects of the Governor's proposal to close the Ogdensburg Correctional facility. Huckabee was so impressed with Matthew's stance on the Fiscal issues affecting the County, that Governor Huckabee said he should be running for a federal office.
Flynn was featured on a segment of the show that included Jared Christiansen, who is seeking the nomination for Wisconsin Governor on the Democrat line. The Show will air this coming Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. on the Fox News Channel. The Committee to elect Flynn is planning on hosting a party this coming Saturday to watch national coverage of the issues affecting St. Lawrence County; he hopes all his friends will be able to join him. Details have not been finalized, but will be posted on Flynn's website: www.voteFLYNN.us
