STAR LAKE – Marion E. (King) Todd, age 87, of Star Lake, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2009 at the Clifton-Fine Hospital.

Marion was born on January 4, 1922 in Harrisville, NY. Marion married Joseph A. King on June 17, 1942. Joseph was the Wanakena Post Master. He was also a WWII veteran where he was also a Post Master. Joseph passed away on December 23, 1973. She married Ernest A. Todd on August 6, 1988 at St. Hubert’s Catholic Church in Star Lake. Ernest was also a WWII veteran.

Marion was a cafeteria worker at Clifton-Fine Central School. She enjoyed housekeeping, gardening, traveling and playing bingo. She was a member of the Rosary Alter Society at St. Hubert’s Church in Star Lake.

In addition to her husband, Ernie Todd of Star Lake, she is survived by a son and his wife, James and Jane King of St. Louis, MO; three daughters and their husbands, Joann and Peter Casey of Ruckersville, VA, Janice and David Parow of Barboursville, VA and Judi and Greg Beasley Sr. of Fulton, NY; two step sons and their wives, Walter E. and Karen Todd of Star Lake and William A. and Ada Todd of Proctorville, OH. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be at French Family Funeral Home, Star Lake on Tuesday, December 1^st from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00pm. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, December 2^nd at 10:30am at St. Hubert’s Catholic Church, Star Lake with Father Robert Decker officiating. Burial will follow at St. Hubert’s Cemetery. A lunch reception will be held at St. Hubert’s Church following the burial.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Clifton-Fine Hospital Long Term Care or the Star Lake Fire Department.
