LATHAM, NY(readMedia) - Maj. Gen. Joseph J. Taluto, The Adjutant General, announces the recent reenlistment of members of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their continuing commitment to serve community, state and nation as part of the Army National Guard.

Sergeant John Sargent from Watertown, NY (postal code 13601) has reenlisted to continue service with the 102 Maintenance Company.

Specialist Robyn Rothermel from Watertown, NY (postal code 13601) has reenlisted to continue service with the Company A, (Distro) 427th Brigade Support Battalion.

Specialist Joshua Loucks from Carthage, NY (postal code 13619) has reenlisted to continue service with the 102 Maintenance Company.

Staff Sergeant Anthony Harper from Ogdensburg, NY (postal code 13669) has reenlisted to continue service with the 102 Maintenance Company.

Master Sergeant Bernard Struys from Gansevoort, NY (postal code 12851) has reenlisted to continue service with the Headquarters 42d Infantry Division.

Sergeant Sarah Whitney from Carthage, NY (postal code 13619) has reenlisted to continue service with the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 427th Brigade Support Battalion.

Sergeant 1st Class Mark Roper from Adams, NY (postal code 13605) has reenlisted to continue service with the Recruiting And Retention Command.

"I'm especially proud to say that the New York Army National Guard and New York Air National Guard have both reached full strength," Taluto said in remarks to the force.

"This is something many have never thought possible in their careers and still we continue to grow," Taluto said.

"As our force increases in strength, we are able to retain or even add more structure to better meet both state and federal missions. We are well postured for our role in state and national defense," Taluto said.
