WATERTOWN, NY - The State Police in Watertown arrested Elvins Perez, 27, of Evans Mills, NY on one count of Promoting an Obscene Sexual Performance by a Child, a Class D Felony. A search warrant was executed today on the Perez residence based on evidence gained by the New York State Police Computer Crimes/Internet Crimes against Children Task Force with the assistance of the FBI. Numerous images of children less than 17 years old engaging in sexual conduct were secured. The incident occurred on 04/21/09.

Perez was arraigned before Town Justice Richard Baker, Town of Pamelia Court, and released on his own recognizance pending Grand Jury action. Fort Drum Criminal Investigation Division (CID) also assisted in the investigation.
