Squirrel OK after Potsdam Shooting |

POTSDAM, NY - Potsdam Village Police responded to a squirrel harassment complaint on Hamilton Street in the village Sunday afternoon. Brett S. Falso, 21, of Scotia, NY had allegedly shot a squirrel in the tail with a bow and arrow. The arrow was reportedly removed by Falso and the squirrel ran away. Falso was issued a ticket for Illegal Discharge of a Firearm within 500 feet of a Dwelling. The ticket is returnable to the Village of Potsdam Court on December 2nd, 2009. Police also ticketed Nicholas A. Baillargeon, 22, of Springfield, MA early Sunday morning for Unnecessary Noise (Stereo) at 2:23 a.m. on Market Street. That ticket is also returnable to the Village of Potsdam Court on December 2nd, 2009.
