2 Arrested after Massena Traffic Stop

MASSENA, NY - Massena-based State Police stopped Lucas A. Mitchell, 37, of Hogansburg on State Highway 37 in the Town of Massena yesterday.
 
Police allege Mitchell was found to be intoxicated and had a reportable BAC of .18%.  He was charged with Aggravated DWI and issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Massena Court on December 16th, 2009 at 1:30 p.m.
 
A passenger in the vehicle, Justin D. Rourke, 29, of Hogansburg was arrested at the scene for Disorderly Conduct and 2nd-Degree Harassment.  Police say Rourke was also wanted locally on a Bench Warrant issued by the Town of Brasher Court and by the US Marshals Service for violating Federal probation.  Rourke was arraigned in the Town of Brasher Court and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in lieu of $3,000 cash bail.  He is due to reappear in the Town of Massena Court on November 18th, 2009 at 1:30 p.m.
