NORTHERN, NY - Both candidates for the 23rd Congressional District Special Election are on the road today, first voting, ideally for themselves, and then traveling the district in hopes of connecting with as many undecided voters as possible before heading to their home towns to await the results with bated breath.

Doug Hoffman will be voting this morning at the North Elba Town Hall in Lake Placid and meeting with the press before heading to a Meet and Greet at Mimi's Drive-In from 12:00 - 12:45 in Fulton.  At 2:00 p.m., Hoffman is scheduled to visit Plattsburgh City Hall with Mayor Kasprzak before heading to a Meet and Greet at the Plattsburgh Homesteadat 2:40 p.m.

Hoffman will then be visiting the Doug Hoffman for Congress headquarters for Clinton County in Plattsburgh and then the main campaign headquarters in Saranac Lake from 4:00 - 4:30 p.m.  Hoffman's Election Night event will take place at the Hotel Saranac in Saranac Lake starting at 9:00 p.m.

Bill Owens will be voting at the South Plattsburgh Recreational Center in Plattsburgh and speaking to the media after casting his ballot.  He's then scheduled for a rally at the Blue Moon Cafe in Saranac Lake at noon before heading to the Clinton Correctional Facility to speak to the workers during their shift change from 2:30-3:15 this afternoon.

Mr. Owens then intends to appear at a Get Out the Vote event with volunteers and supporters at the Plattsburgh Democratic Field Office at 5:00 p.m. and attending an Election Night event with Clinton County Democrats at the American Legion Post 20 in Plattsburgh.
