ALEXANDRIA BAY, NY - Town of Alexandria Supervisor Martha M. Millett filed a complaint with the State Police on October 30th, 2009 alleging that approximately 15 campaign signs had been stolen from yards over the previous few days.

Following investigation, the Alexandria Bay based State Police arrested Thomas L. Eggleston, 45, of Theresa on Saturday morning.  Police say that Eggleston admitted he had taken three signs located on Church street in the Village of Alexandria Bay.

He was charged with 3 counts of Petit Larceny and issued Appearance Tickets returnable to the Town of Alexandria Court, ironically, on Election Day, November 3rd, 2009.
