Obstructed License Plate leads to Drug Arrest

Matthew Fulton, photo courtesy of New York State Police.The New York State Police in Alexandria Bay arrested Matthew J. Fulton, age 27, Alexandria Bay, NY on Thursday, 10/28/09, 4:19 p.m., for 2 Counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd degree, and License Plate Obstructed.
 
Mr. Fulton was stopped on ST-12, Town of Alexandria for having an obstructed license plate, and it was discovered he also had a suspended NYS Driver's License.  He was then found to possess a Crack Pipe with Cocaine residue, two lorazepam tablets (a controlled substance), and less than 25 grams of marijuana.  He was issued tickets returnable 11/03/09 to the Town of Alexandria Court and released.
