Speeding violation leads to Unlawful Possession of Marijuana arrest

The New York State Police Orleans Interstate Patrol arrested Gerald A. Wratten, age 34, Adams, NY for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, Aggravated Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the Second Degree, and Speeding Friday morning.

Mr. Wratten was observed operating a motor vehicle northbound on I-81 in the Town of Watertown at 86 MPH in the posted 65 MPH zone. Subsequent investigation revealed he had 9 current suspensions on his Driver's License and possessed a marijuana pipe and a baggie containing less than 25 grams of marijuana.

He was issued tickets returnable to the Town of Watertown court on 11/19/09.
