CANTON, NY - St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Correll C. Shepherd, 42, of Rensselaer Falls, NY, for a domestic incident that occurred in July.

Allegedly, Shepherd punched the victim in the mouth, causing a broken tooth. Shepherd was charged with Assault 2nd Degree, a Class A felony, Menacing 3rd Degree, a Class B misdemeanor, and Criminal Mischief 4th Degree, a Class A misdemeanor.

Arraignment was in Potsdam Town Court before Judge Charleson. Shepherd was remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility on $2,500 or $5,000 bond.
