PIERREPONT, NY - The St. Lawrence County Sheriff's office has concluded a nearly two-week long investigation into the large fight that occurred on Irish Settlement Road in the Town of Pierrepont on October 3rd, 2009.

According to police, the incident began with a group of people riding illegally registered motorcycles and ATV's on the Irish Settlement Road and ended in a brawl involving more than 10 people.

Joseph A. Trimm, 26, of Irish Settlement Road in Pierrepont, was arrested for 2nd-Degree Felony Assault for allegedly hitting another person in the face with an object.  He was arraigned before the Town of Pierrepont Court and held briefly in the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility until his bail was paid.

Cliff E. Mateos, 29, of South Colton, NY was charged with Misdemeanor Assault.

Dean A. Murdock, III, 24, of Dekalb was charged for Reckless Driving.

Several other involved individuals were charged with 2nd-Degree Harassment.
