MASSENA, NY - Massena-based State Police arrested Samuel G. Maitland, 21, of St. Regis Falls and Samuel G. Beaulieu, 21, of St. Regis Falls on Thursday at a checkpoint on State Route 37 in the Town of Brasher.Police say that they found both defendants to be in possession of items containing less than 25 grams of Marijuana after a search at the traffic checkpoint. During a separatestop at the checkpoint, police arrested Daniel S. Makuch, 22, of Winthrop for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana following a search at the traffic checkpoint. Police say that Makuch was in possession of less than 25 grams of marijuana when he arrived at the checkpoint. All three were issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Brasher Court on October 13th, 2009 at 6:00 p.m.
