WELLESLEY ISLAND, NY - Alexandria Bay-based State Police arrested Kimberlee D'Aoust, 42, of Gatineau, PQ last night after she attempted to cross into the United States at the Wellesley Island border crossing. Authorities say that D'Aoust was found to be operating her vehicle while intoxicated and that a search also turned up approximately 1.3 grams of marijuana. US Customs Officers turned her over to Alexandria Bay State Police where she was processed and refused to take a chemical test. She was arraigned in the Town of Orleans Court and released on $500.00 bail to reappear on October 6th, 2009. State Police turned her over to US Border Patrol after she made bail.
