2-Car Accident Injures 1 in Colton |

COLTON, NY - Canton-based State Police investigated a 2-car accident on State Route 56 in South Colton. According to police, 22-year-old Ontario resident Anaique Lepage was driving a Chevrolet Cobalt north on SR 56 when she failed to negotiate a sharp curve and entered the southbound lane of traffic. Joan Sweeney, 47, of Rexford, NY was traveling south in a Toyota minivan. Police say she attempted to avoid Lepage's vehicle but could not and struck it with the minivan. Sweeney reported minor injuries at the scene. Lepage was issued a traffic summons for Failure to Keep Right and her vehicle was towed from the scene.
