Precision Farmer Panels to Talk GPS Use at August 11-13, 2009 Empire Farm Days

Seneca Falls, NY  - Wondering who is using GPS (global positioning systems) technology on their farm? Seventeen (17) farmers from across New York State will share their experiences with precision farming at the August 11-13, 2009 Empire Farm Days. Daily 2:30 pm panel presentations will feature at least five different farmers each day of the agricultural showcase event held at Rodman Lott & Son Farms in Seneca Falls.

GPS systems can be used for any number of farming tasks from field scouting, planting, fertilizing, and spraying to harvesting, data collection and yield and weed mapping.
