MASSENA, NY - State Police based in Massena arrested Justin E. Cooke, 19, of Moira yesterday for 2nd-Degree Criminal Possession of Marijuana.Following a traffic stop on State Route 95 in the Town of Bombay, police allege that Cooke was found to be in possession of approximately 1 pound of marijuana. He was arraigned in the Town of Fort Covington Court and released after posing $500 bail. Cooke is scheduled to appear in the Town of Bombay Court on August 18th, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. During the same traffic stop, Kananakehneh Green, 18, of Akwesasne was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. According to police, Green had less than 25 grams of Marijuana on his person. Green was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Bombay Court on July 28th, 2009 at 6:00 pm.
