Felicia D. Manheim, 89, of Greenwood Street, Lake Placid, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.

Born Aug. 16, 1927, she was the daughter of Sieg and Irene (Herzog) Manheim.

Ms. Manheim had worked as Customs Inspectional Aide for the U.S. Customs Department in Blaine, Wash. and at Lake Placid Hardware and the Hotel Marcy in Lake Placid. Felicia was a member of the Adirondack Community Church in Lake Placid.

She is survived by two nephews and two nieces.

She was predeceased by two sisters: Dee Fisher and Sylvia Tabb.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 16 at the North Elba Cemetary in Lake Placid. Pastor Ingrid Johnson of the Adirondack Community Church will officiate.

The Clark Funeral Home in Lake Placid is in charge of arrangements.
